About me... I have been teaching for going on 11 years. I have worked at Jesse Carson High School since it opened, and before that I worked at West Rowan.
I grew up in Rowan County and went East Rowan High School, and then attended UNCW where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I knew that I loved science, especially Biology and considered all sorts of professions from Veterinary medicine to Microbiology, but I also loved home. SO I decided to move back home after college and became a Biology Teacher. I later went to UNCC and recieved a Masters in the Art of Teaching Biology.
I teach Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, and AP Environmental Science. New this year I am teaching Earth Science too. :)
I stay very busy, my 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son keep me that way! I am married and I have 3 dogs (2 Schnauzers and a Collie).
